NAIIVE
A couple of months back, a friend came up with the idea of forming a collective. At the time, this idea didn't come to meet those terms, in the sense that none of us knew we were meant to stick with each other for some time. All we wanted was to express ourselves creatively, apart from the capitalistic models, apart from the incisive decision-makers and those who overpower the niche, reaching to be selfless creative forces ready to take a chance in the Portuguese creative scene. 
Eventually, we formed a collective and took pride in what united us as creatives: being naiive. For us, it meant living from creativity, all whilst helping each other grow their projects, as well as other creatives we might've met along the way as well. Needless to say, naiive had different breaches accordingly to the creative outlets it was meant to exist in: one titled naiive lab, another naiive cloud, and naiive records - the latest still existing up to this day. 
Knowing that we embraced so many different facets of creative expression, the challenge to create a logo that encompassed it all was set from the beginning - and it only made sense like that. We've decided that the logo was to exist across all different platforms and all different mediums, adapting itself over again but never losing its essence. 
The symbol was a constant, and each different side of naiive held a specific visual language: naiive lab, the product breach was meant to be minimalistic in a way, clear and fed by the contrast of black and white; naiive cloud was adaptable, easy-going, and yet to be fully materialized; naiive records was vivid and bright, fresh and catchy in a way that resembled what music can be described as. But most importantly, it took inspiration from what the visual universes connected to music showcase: bright effervescent colors and lights.
I believe this is still a work in progress. Naiive as we knew ended, apart from the record label branch - naiive records -, but the brand still exists in these designs, and the experience of being part of something special, even if for a moment, prevails with every one of us. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The following logo - the one presently assigned to naiive records - was made by João Guerreiro. In the following work, I've taken care of tweaking the 2D logo representation to ensure harmony in its graphic form and composition, and of creating the following 3D assets and visual environments.
